My Story
Why I Do This Work
With the easy decisions all handled by the team, I took on the complicated ones. The ones with multiple conflicting factors and limited information. For over two decades, I learned how to hone this skill and rely on my own decision-making framework. I've helped those on my teams develop their skills in this area and now I'm excited to help those outside of my team develop theirs.
If there is one thing I'm really good at, it is breaking down a problem into different components. All I'm doing is asking a series of questions and playing with different toggles while holding other factors constant. This helps me to see the problem from different perspectives as well as clearly define the problem and requirements for a solution.
Over the years I have owned complicated portfolios, set regulation and contributed to code development. However, the most rewarding work has always been leading my teams and investing in those that trusted me to lead them. I've been in the game long enough to even see some of my co-op students now in executive leadership roles.
